Nice find!

Here's what I turned up with a quick search on the company:

"Rocky Mountain Pottery Company (ROMCO) was founded by Leland Huston in 1953 and moved to Loveland in 1957. The firm's first pottery pieces were produced to resemble wood grain and included a pine scent. Many pottery designs were produced, but its most popular line remained the wood-grained design, along with the various colors of its hand-painted pinecone line. During summers, the Loveland factory employed 35 to 40 people and offered daily tours. Two regional outlets sold ROMCO pottery during summer seasons, including one in downtown Estes Park and one in Colorado Springs. The company was sold in 1981, then again in 1986, at which time the original business came to an end."

So they were making ceramics in the 50s, despite the modern look of the foil sticker. Still, it's an intriguing mystery.
