If you find yourself unable to make a couple "must have" drinks, you can weigh out the possibility of compromising at least on a temporary basis. While the low-end syrups and flavorings are an issue, I think they are capable of being (at least partially) remediated by the other high-quality ingredients you are using. I applaud you for caring about the quality of what you are serving and wish you all the best for success.
