While browsing the interwebs today for images, I came across a nice scan of a Don the Beachcomber menu. I clicked on visit page, and found an odd, but delightful, online repository for the New York Public Library. Located here: http://menus.nypl.org/ There are over 16,000 menus available, and if you want, you can help transcribe them! The images are decently scanned, but not large enough to print out. For those of you out there that always wanted to have a menu collection, now you can have a digital one! I'm working on downloading all the tiki ones I can find and turning them into PDF's for myself. Perhaps some of you out there might want to do the same! Here's a short list of what they have available: The list goes on and on. When you search it brings up both menu's and ingredients/dishes, so you can search by either. Enjoy! |
