Pump

If the pump stops working, it doesn't mean it needs to be replaced. Unplug the lamp to check the pump. Remove the panel found in the area where oil flows into the pump. Check to see if the pump blade wheel will move when you nudge it. If it moves, the pump is still good and just needs cleaning. If the blade wheel is frozen in place and you can't turn it, chances are the pump needs replacing.

If this is an original rain lamp, finding a new pump can be a challenge. Check the outside of the pump for a manufacturer's name and model number. This information is necessary in your search for a replacement pump. Attempt to contact the manufacturer; perhaps it still makes replacement pumps. Search online for your brand and model pump for anyone who might be selling it. You might even find a company that will repair rain lamp pumps.

If you still have the pump, check and see if the tubing is ok.

Thats what wears out the most, because it is constantly being worn against, as the "pump" is going.

(I took one apart and saw the inner workings, so I know its mostly the tube that gets worn out).
