Wendy, took me a while to catch up on 5 days of the Wendy & Dan Show :lol:
Jon, that mug is from the failed Hilo Hooters Tiki Bar. Not enough business and they went "tits up" so to speak.
Wendy, I hope you substract GROG's double posts from your post count :D In my only ceramics class we had a ball mill for mixing glazes.

The plastic jar of glaze sits on the rotating bottom rods and turns slowly. For milling glaze you put fired ceramic balls in the jar and they grind the bits of glaze between them. To just re-suspend the glaze you probably wouldn't need the balls. If you keep your eye on e-Bay and Craig's List you might find one cheap. I drop a couple of marbles in each bottle of my glazes in hopes that it will help mix when I shake the bottles. Don't know if it helps because I still have problems with glaze skips occasionally too :(
