More ads from the Tiki Hut, first Seattle... from a 1967 visitors guide next from a 1967 Seattle Magazine I have to say that the tiki is a cheap, pathetic, simplistic and down right lazy sketch to use for ad copy! also from Seattle Magazine "Authentic descendant of the famous Waikiki steakhouse, the Tiki Hut offers a fine selection of choice steaks and seafood at family prices. Heading the menu is our delicious broiled steak and lobster combination, and every entree includes a trip to our "build-your-own" salad bar. The casual atmosphere, with waiters clad in shorts and Aloha shirts, adds to informal dining pleasure. Try our luncheon special- a tropical Mai Tai from the Shell Room and our Hawaiian Teriyaki steak." That lunch sounds pretty good right now! And the outrigger salad bar is cool! Sorry about lousy library copies, the bound magazines couldn't be checked out, next time I'll bring a camera and see if that works. Next more cheese from the Lynnwood location... aloha, tikicoma |
