Heliconia are a great tropical. You can find some that are cold hardy- check out http://www.stokestropicals.com for mailordering. You can easily grow the plumeria- you just need to keep them in pots and "overwinter" them in the garage. Check out http://www.plumeria101.com for info on how to pull it off in texas |
