Ka'amea warmed up the audience with both traditional Hawaiian songs and some Hapa Haole as well. Mike Keale entertained the crowd (that came from as far away as Santa Clarita and Temecula)with a voice that can only be compared to that of his cousin Brother IZ and his Uncle Moe Keale. Mike's wife Linda accompanied him with some beautiful Hula. All in all, being entertained in the tropical setting of Don the Beachcomber, the near capacity crowd left with the feeling like they had just taken a trip to the islands. Thank you to all who attended and made this event so much fun! And BIG MAHALOZ to Jeff (Big Tiki Dude) for supplying (and running) the sound system and providing the perfect background music between sets! Pictures to follow soon!
