Lee Tiki, Manhattan Beach, CA (apartments) - Locating Tiki

BB Bora Boris Mr. Unreasonable Boogie Wonderland Joined: Mar 25, 2005 Posts: 2592	BB Bora Boris Posted posted on Sat, Jun 15, 2013 12:08 PM After seeing this NPR post about Ed Ruscha’s book “Some Los Angeles Apartments” I was curious about the state of the Lee Tiki as it hadn’t showed up here before? 1555 Artesia Blvd. 1965 So after looking at a Google maps street view = disappointing = no name signage, no fun fonts. :( I wanted to see if maybe there were any Tikis inside the complex but no, also disappointing. Nothing says "Fun in the Sun!"* like a filled in swimming pool.* Not a bad place though, good neighborhood, close to the ocean. I could live there.
