I bought it two weeks ago in Florida and was pleasantly surprised by it... In a good way. Granted, I have only recently begun to expand my rum pallet and my appreciation for the finer varieties, but I found it to be very smooth with lots of vanilla and honey notes. I have not compared it directly with Eldo 12, but I rather enjoyed it on it's own merits. I guess this calls for another tasting... Oh, darn. :) Cheers and aloha!
