I am learning and so I did a very simple design for my first. It is a simple Moai. The piece is 30 inches high and carved from pine or fir I think. It is finished with a walnut stain and a hand rubbed poly. I donated this first Tiki at Ohana: Luau at the Lake this past weekend. The Tiki sold in the silent auction with proceeds going to the Easter Island Foundation for scholarships. "For the Kids". I included one of my T-shirts with the Tiki.
