We are pleased to announce a very special event, to be held Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village's Coral Ballroom. Hawaii Youth Symphony presents NA MELE: The Gift of Music Let us take you back to the Golden Age of Waikiki with lush, orchestral exotica music reminiscent of Les Baxter, Martin Denny, and Arthur Lyman. Hawaii's legendary vocalist and "keeper of the flame" Jimmy Borges will sing songs of Frank Sinatra, Alfred Apaka and others. Al Harrington, star of Hawaii Five-O, will emcee. This gala fundraising dinner & concert raises monies to support HAWAII YOUTH SYMPHONY! Hope to see you there.
