In all the years I have been going to garage sales, swapmeets, and antique stores I have NEVER found anything remotely cool in the tiki world. For my first ever tiki find in "the wild" I am pretty happy.

I turned a corner in an antique store and saw the mug precariously sitting on the edge of a shelf. I grabbed it and turned it over to look for the the $200 price tag, but nothing. The cashier charged me 7 bucks. It is as mint as a vintage mug can be.

Here is the bottom of this mug.

And the bottom of the Bumatay I already paid a lot for on ebay many years ago.

Does anyone know the significance of the two different bottoms?
