Alii Tiki wrote to me on the Tiki Finds page so I wanted to keep track of his information. Thank you Alii Tiki. Thomas Barnes also sent my photos and link to the family and I've asked to friend them on facebook. This is a very special find and we are so excited. Thank goodness for Tiki Central it rocks along with all who join in the fun.

The Kimitete family is renowned as carvers, I think based off the age of yours it was likely carved by Joseph Kimitete, look at the information in the top link in my post (Kai Ehitu History).
