JD Johnny Dollar Tiki Socialite Flyover, Missourah Joined: Oct 01, 2003 Posts: 3159	JD Johnny Dollar Posted posted on Fri, Jul 26, 2013 5:41 AM interesting... yesterday i bought a skull mug through craigslist for the hawaiian room. the previous owner had bought it at the hawaiian room in 1959 or 1961 when visiting with his brother. they were both "in the service." compare this one (the smaller, whiter one with the OTAGIRI markings) with the other one, which is more beige and larger, although possibly from the same scuplt. the text on the whiter, smaller skull is the "chop suey" font that matches the font on the angry bearded mug. i looked on ooga-mooga, and all the cataloged examples of this skull have the larger blocky letters like the one on the larger, beige skull.
