Thanks for the links. I think I will try some of that on the top when I get it on and trimmed out. For trim I was going to route some pattern. But after seeing the edge on that video in your second post. I'm thinking that would look pretty cool to wrap the edge in trim and then give it the grinding wheel treatment.

Here's a pic that shows the drip guard (bar rail or whatever its called). I made it 3/4-inch lower than the bar top, does that sound about right?
