This has been a great week for collecting.

I'll start with my favorite. My first thought was that this was some sort of hobbyist Moai/Mainlander thing.

But I noticed the glaze was nice and also crazed. Weird handle.

And wait,

I am pretty stunned. It appears to me to be from the Tiki Lounge at the Heart O' Denver Motel. Anyone want to weigh in? It is professionally made and I would hazard a guess that it was made in the USA. It feels and looks more like those 1960's ashtrays I always find (marked "Calif." or "Made in USA") than an OMC or Orchids mug.

The same store had this Tiki Bob's Peanut and generic barrel. Havana Club glass was from elsewhere.

Oh, and whatever this thing is:

Sorry for the in situ picture - it was what I sent my wife to ask if it could gain entry into our house. It is set to hang horizontally.

This was all found the same day I visited the now defunct Castaways in Manitou Springs to pick up some things. From there:

I couldn't afford the fish trap lamp but I did get two nice Bamboo/Tapa dividers. They were handmade by the owners' wife with Tapa from a Hawaiian vacation.
