You can create a amazing new art movement in your basement, but if no one see's it...is it an art movement? This got Robert Williams out there! Sure he was already "out there" to many of us - like me, but I'm an old dude, ) It was gratifying to see one of his MAJOR mind blowing "super-cartoons" gracing one of the hottest albums of that year.... it RAWKED! ( in many senses of that word) Would it have worked on a Madonna Album? Not sure, but that Guns N' Roses album was a nice fit! ...I think it kinda' gave Guns N Roses a little bit of under-ground art cool in my eyes, actually.
