It's a 30" tall piece of Koa that grew about ten miles from my house. :P

It has a great grain, but it's hard to see with the shine from the wax/oil finish.

You can see the grain better in this shot.
It's a real nice carving wood.

I wasn't happy with this one so i re-stained it to show the detail more.

Yeah, mo bettah!
BTW, this one is available, $600.
