Dear Clarita, I Hate to see you struggling so much carving wax. Have you ever tried jewelers carving wax? It is MUCH Harder than candle wax and SO MUCH Easier to carve than candle wax, (If that is what you Are carving?). This stuff comes in blocks and sheets and the sheetscan be melted together with an inexpensive solderring iron or wax gun. It finishes up with files or sandpaper like wood and can be polished with a liquid called waxbright also available on this site. Try it you might like it? |
