Here's a little history on the boys... Ambassadors To Earth are a four piece instrumental band whose music is influenced by surf music, garage rock, spy movies, cop shows, car chases, and the Lawrence Welk Show. Ambassadors To Earth members are: Larry Brown, drums (Zapruder Point), Marshall Dawson, guitar (Spies Who Surf), Tommy Klein, guitar (Spies Who Surf), and Dan Polonsky, bass (Nash Kato). The band formed in 2007, when they performed the Ventures classic album, The Ventures in Space, from start to finish. The evening was such a success that they started writing and recording original material. Ambassadors To Earth are based in Chicago, Illinois. The drink special for Saturday 11/17 is a Freaky Tiki w/glass for $17.00, plus the usual (huge) selection of tropical drinks and Asian Fusion Cuisine to help everyone through the night. The weather's changing and it's getting colder, so what better way to warm up than with the exotic ambiance of Chef Shangri-La, and the cosmic rhythms of Ambassabors to Earth?
