For those who may enjoy it, we've added some vintage Hawaiian Christmas selections from the LP collection into the mix on "Hawaiian Hi-Fi" on Live365.com. Holiday tunes from Don Ho, The Surfers, Arthur Lyman, some local lounge acts and various steel guitar groups, in addition to a few Japanese, Filipino & Chamorro (Guam Island) Christmas ditties for that real vintage "island holiday feeling."
I'm also excited to include a few selections from this VERY rare LP recording of a long-forgotten pseudo-Hawaiian instrument..the Ukelin. They used to be sold primarily door-to-door is the early part of the last century as an "easy to learn at home" combination Hawaiian guitar, ukulele, violin. (According to all reports, it wasn't really all that easy to learn, and had a fairly short lived run...but a few of the old instruments were still out there.)

And for the truly off-beat...how about a selection from a Hawaiian Christmas record recorded in Sweden??

Mele Kalikimaka from "Hawaiian Hi-Fi!"
