TikiSkip, My brother was kind enough to tell me about his Christmas ornament find. I too wondered if the globe would transmit light so yesterday I went down to the place and picked up only four of them. I came home and drilled a hole and then used a jig saw to make the hole wider. I put in a 25 watt light bulb and liked what I saw. The place is closed until Tuesday so I will be there and buy their remaining stock. They had 36 left when I left yesterday.

I tried it with a yellow and a red bulb.
