Here's a float from the Kahiki auction.
Well I think this is decorator glass made for décor not for
being in the ocean on a fish net as it is too thin to last in the ocean.
BUT it is very cool and it sold for $134.00 plus 10% on top of that.
I can't buy things like that and then sell you a light made from
such high dollar glass, the light with ship would be over $250.00 bucks!

So this is what makes Globes like the one you found so attractive for tiki bar lighting.
The people who want glass globes most of the time don't want to
pay glass globe prices for a light.

But then most of the lights I make are glass globes.
If I find a globe glass, plastic or resin I tie it.
Heck the coolest globe I ever tied was PAPER and that is in Svens house.
