That is just a tiny wedge out of a small slice that was lying around next to the logs. I had heard that Norfolk Pine was good to carve, but had no idea just how nice it was in the small form. I cheated and used my Wecheer on it and then cleaned up with the hook knife. It carves almost as nice as Basswood. Will was nice enough to give me the rest of the slice - I may turn some on the lathe.
