A google image search turns up a lot of poster and magazine ads from the early-mid 1940s showing a "White Label" Ron Merito with the same square bottle and label design. I didn't run across a mention of the "Gold Label" product any earlier than a 1952 ad, and taking a quick look at a couple of the 1940s recipes put out by the company I only saw references to the light rum. By the early 1960s the ads are depicting different label art and possible a move to round bottles so I would think your bottle predates that. Cool find! Glad the contents are tasty!

Kill Devil, I think early 1950s.
