They didn't do it because they loved us and were filled with the aloha spirit. I'm sorry, but everything about the closing of this place was handled poorly. From the changing of the closing dates to the charging (gouging) of $40 for the "$18" t-shirts in the last weeks. My,Myself and Moai is correct. It certainly appears that they abandoned this creature like it was just another plastic parrot.
