I heard from the folks working on this and they confirm what we are reading in the news
is true, so it is official, The Owner of the former Bahooka is asking for money & donations
for a new 2000 Plus Gallon Tank, which means he is essentially moving Rufus (just like he
would be moved to Damon's if that was still on) but a shorter distance
with the added stress of a new unestablished tank & sharing it with other fish
I would be very surprised if he survived this change of habitat.

This will be dangerous & incredibly stressful to Rufus, I was also told that more then a few of the other fish
at the restaurant have died.

Lynn at Hidden LA is consulting with others on what to do with the money raised so far, if you contributed
go to the donation website and leave a message on what you would like to do with the funds:

So all of our efforts are on hold for now & just waiting to see if the situation changes in the near future
or until we hear further from Lynn or Kari.

I assume Fez Moai's roll in this is no longer active, as the owner of the former Bahooka is refusing contact
with any of the folks he had prior contact with on this, so far.

So that's it for now.

My two cents, not a single dime should go to this opportunistic jerk who has never had Rufus's best interest
in mind, he is seeing this as a windfall to get free publicity & a very expensive new addition (Huge new fish tank)
in his new Chinese restaurant.
