The new owner still owns the fish, and for better or worse, we need to cut off the free publicity. The public will forget about this very quickly and the restaurant will soon realize they saddled themselves with "just another big fish." We, however, should be prepared for a future situation where Jorge alerts us to more trouble for Rufus. Opportunistic restaurant owners are not likely to be very reliable or responsible over the long-haul, even when it comes to running their own affairs, so our day to save Rufus may come again.
