The organs in orbit CD is probably my favorite one in that series, along with "space capades"...

When Joey D was in that booth (and this was a few years ago of course) he was playing a fully digital version made by Hammond, but it was hooked up to a Leslie....as far as I am concerned, and with the eyes closed...it looked and sounded exactly the same as a real tonewheel organ. he was even able to do some of those waterfall effects...and a lot of the typical 50's/60's sci-fi sound effects on that thing.....

It's hard to find his stuff...I wish capital would re-release ALL the full source albums for the ultra lounge series....I have one CD of his that has 3 albums in one, but this track is not on it. Most of the tracks are mono. All his songs are cool cover versions.....

And speaking of mono, I wish the original, stereo david rose album would be released. This song is one of my favorites, but I have a David Rose CD that has a mono, earlier version of it:

From the beginning to the end, this song has so many twists and turns and is very richly arranged...I always picture old aerial views of 50's era hollywood when I hear it....
