Skipper is a widely used demerara in the UK (sort of a bartender choice). I haven't had a bottle but I have tried it neat & in drinks in bars. I got a thread started ( http://www.tikicentral.com/viewtopic.php?topic=46091&forum=10 ) because the demerara rums that are prevalent in the UK are more like Skipper (lambs, woods 100, ovd) over the El Dorado 5 (the most common demerara in the US?) - post your thoughts! |
