From Beachbum Berry's Potions of the Caribbean, page 181 "Myrtle Bank Punch".
There are two very different drinks here, one by Trader Vic and the other by Don the Beachcomber.

I tried the Beachcomber's first and was, admittedly, disappointed. This drink used dark Jamaican rum, gold Jamaican rum (I used Coruba and Appleton Estates Special), lime and white grapefruit juice, Don's honey, soda water and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters. To me, it lacked the complexity and craftsmanship I've come to expect from DTB. In short, I was unimpressed.

Then, I tried the Trader Vic version using Lemon Hart 151, maraschino liqueur, lime juice, white sugar and grenadine. I must admit this is the first drink I've made where Lemon Hart 151 flew solo! Nontheless, once it watered down a bit, (my first sip was a shock to the system), it was quite tasty and the reason for using Lemon Hart 151 alone became apparent . . . it's depth of flavor played well with the other ingredients. I made another. . . but now I have to take a nap!
