Generally I think the Mai Tai 'formula' holds up well with many different rum pairings (or no pairings), and I like Smith & Cross in a Mai Tai. It is a strong flavor, though --- maybe you could sub a 1/2 oz S&C to a jigger of another rum to get the Jamaican effect? |
