But usually when somebody "goes on vacation" for that length of time and doesn't want to communicate, its because they are having a "procedure" done, or are in rehab.

So, is one getting a nip and tuck, and the other trying to sober up? Is Dan going to come back looking 20 years younger and Wendy sporting some double D's. Will Dan grow his mustache back because he no longer has to worry about it hindering snorting stuff up his nose? Will Wendy quit making ceramic bongs disguised as tiki mugs?

Maybe we should have a pool and bet on it. The choices:

Both in rehab.
Both got plastic surgery.
Dan in rehab and Wendy had plastic surgery.
Dan had plastic surgery and Wendy went to rehab.

GROG vote both went to rehab. Dan for drinking and chronic pot smoking, and Wendy for crack cocaine addiction.
