Hula, if I may quote from an old camping guidebook handed down to me from my grandtather: "Grizzlies, and most black bears, have been known to submit, and be utterly relaxed, when viewing Aloha prints and tropical fabrics. The sheen of rayon fabrics sometimes confuses their initial peaceful instinct, so cotton and/or polyester is recommended. It makes them remember their days in the islands, so it is said."
