Bob Jasper posted this today in the Coco Palms group on facebook.

He says demolition begins this October, and that just 30% of the total amount of structures need to be demolished. Mostly it's the smaller all-wood buildings. This includes the cottages, the chapel, and sadly, the iconic lobby.
Everything will be rebuilt as it was, though. The Seashell Restaurant will come down and be rebuilt, and may open before the hotel.
