I was working for a client today, A very nice elderly couple
who being a part of the etiquette generation, politely asked if
they could get me a drink, Now I always jokingly say I will have a "Mai Tai"
which got a laugh from the couple, then politely saying "that I am fine"

The woman promptly excused herself for a moment & quickly returned with a book
saying this is for you!

What they gave me was "Trader Vics Book of Food & Drink"

This is the first time I have had my hands on as old a version of this book
I posted a few recipes from the book for you to enjoy.
