Slow week two weeks ago:

Tiki Farm Tikinator mug

Tribal Art magazine

It's mostly ads for high end Polynesian art galleries. The ads do have a lot of eye candy in them. The "articles" are brief, and I think most the pictures were from Pacific Encounters. (I haven't checked fer sure yet, but I think so...)

Did a little better this week:

NIce old float in great condition 12" diameter

23" tall PNG mask

I just out grew my designated PNG space in my house. :(

Polyart King K and a Coco Joe's letter opener:

When I bought the letter opener today, it was with the promise that I would not stab anyone with it. Then someone actually got stabbed at the swap meet today right after I left. I wonder if that lady thought it was me with my letter opener when she first heard about the stabbing? Like she planted the seed...
Anyway, I had a polyart that was similar to the Schirman King K. Close to a missing link, but not exact. Then I find that one last week that is a polyart with the same stock number, but a closer sculpt to the Schirman version. From L-R: Schirman, Lava Ray, Polyart closer version, and Polyart skinny version

Great book from a museum show in 1973. Dimensions of Polynesia, 244 pages

It even has a chapter titled Tiki

Lots of great pictures and essays on Polynesian cultures. More anthro oriented overall

Buzzy Out!
