(Uncle Val's Botanical Gin was my gateway-gin and put gin into an entirely new light for me.) I will have to open my copy of the good doctor's book and follow your lead and try that sling. By the way, Ted Haight, "Dr. Cocktail," was the bartender in the movie "Superbad." I heard this when I watched the film with the commentary track on. And since they were not able to secure permission to use "real" bottles of liquors and beers in the movie, Dr. Cocktail was tasked with creating a myriad of fake bottle labels for all the liquors visible in the film. All this according to the comments track on the Superbad DVD.
