Philot I have to keep the Flower Power Bob very 60's. Bright colors and fun. Now that Wish List #5 is getting close I like to think back to the hardest pieces I ever made. Yours is right up there on top. I love a challenge. I'm glad you like the Bob's I always worry when I take a break that everyone will get tire of them.

hang10tiki small coconut mugs are just plain cute. Tiny Bobs too. Thank you.

TikiAno I'm glad you think that this one is up there with hang10tikis Bob but his took two days vs one to carve. It's going to take you 25 years to perfect your Tiki Ari. What is his name on the birth certificate?

hang10tiki plus you are tiki hunting up a storm. Where do you find the time?

LoriLovesTiki you started something with not only me but other artists as well. Think of the guy on Maui!

There is nothing better than to find messages here. Thank you all so much for taking the time. You keep me going.

I got out the tattoo book again and found a design that I've seen Gecko'z use but was confusing as to how it was done.

I got one going and cleaned it with water. If I didn't use water it would look

like this.

I just started playing with the swirls.

Then I decided that I would add rhinestones to this Tiki Bob too. So I even made a place in the center of his eyes.

A DOUBLE POST FOR THE HOLIDAYS!

I'm still raiding the tattoo books and I found a HONU.

I started with the shell and then worked on his arms/flappers/wings what are they? They are in the shape of tiki faces.

I finished off his shell and did

the other "thing". The are not perfectly matched but close.

Lastly I carved rings around the tiki to add a design.

All done and posing.

====================================================

Clay is just so much fun to play with. Busy hands keep out of trouble.

I wish you all have the very best and Happy Thanksgiving. Post your best photo here. Even if there are no tikis in the view or it's a few days later. So Tiki Ano does he get the turkey leg tomorrow?

Cheers, Wendy
