Found a 50’s bakelite viewer and 12 “reels”at my local Goodwill. Most of the reels were travelog type.No Pacific Island reels but there was a San Diego reel. There are nice views of Balboa park and a cool one of a Shore Patrol paddywagon parked on one of the parade decks at the Naval Training. I’ll try to get my grandson to show me how to transfer the pic to my computer. Btw, reels were .35 or 3 for a buck back then. [ Edited by: nui 'umi 'umi 2014-12-05 13:10 ] |
