we rang it in with a bottle of prosecco. our new tradition is to drink our way around the world on NYD with bubbly from each continent. still to go: a NZ sparkling sauvignon blanc; an Aussie brut rose; a Japanese sparkling sake; a South African vintage brut rose; an Argentinian sparkling torrontes; and a California brut rose. gotta get the black-eyed peas, hog jowl bacon, and collards going... |
