I'm just getting caught up with your thread - I'm touched and humbled that you've included me. The Wife and I bought a c. 1954 ranch house a few years ago and hoped to create a tiki room in the basement, but flooding the following spring put an end to that. Last week we started painting our back room, hoping to create a tiki space - that'll now have to wait until spring. As for my wrist, I slipped on a new door mat (it reads "Selling something? Try the neighbors") and broke my fall with my arm. (Putting my arm down kept me from hitting my head on a concrete block, so I can't complain too much.) The surgery went well, my pain level is manageable, and I'm hopeful for a speedy recovery. Finally got some sleep last night, which was welcome. (The door mat has been relegated to the garage.)
