Back to carving, I'm trying to wait on my 2nd platter. I rolled it and cut it out last night and had it wrapped in plastic today. Tonight I tried to carve a flower but it was too wet. So I'm going to let it dry some more and try again tomorrow. There's a fine line between too soft and too hard! Thanks for the tips everyone.
