Very cool Anthony! The mosaic went into the bisque fire this morning (painted the "Aloha" label on after the pic). You can put underglaze on unfired greenware like I have done here. It speeds up the process as it eliminates one firing. But there is a risk - handling the unfired clay in it's very fragile state there is always a chance of breaking something. Since these were thick pieces, I went ahead and took the risk. |
