I'm in Louisiana. So basically do I ask my local liquor store if they purchase from the LA distributor on your website, and if so, to order some?

In case I haven't answered your question, yes. Asking your local store to call Lirette Selections is the best way to get some of this rum. It's in stock now but the distributor will probably run out before their next shipment arrives.
