Aloha everybody! A decade ago, Jeremy Fleener had a dream and a vision, and brought back LA's oldest Tiki gem from tarnished obscurity, polished it, and restored it to it's proper place in the pantheon of Tiki... and the rest is history! Celebrate the Rebirth of Tonga Hut on Sunday, March 15th
The fun kicks off at 2pm with Parking Lot Sale and Art Show. The theme for the Art Show is coconuts in honor of Jeremy's impromptu renditions of "Big Brown Nut", a favorite tune among Hut regulars... and, we're all coconuts for the Hut! Artists will be competing for the title of "Best in (Coconut) Shell"! DJ Tonga Tom will be spinning tunes. Durango's Tacos will provide the eats. Vending/Art Show until dusk, and then the festivities move inside at 6pm for a 60's Dance Party with DJ Dan Moses Also available will be a limited edition 10th Anniversary coconut mug! Here's a list of vendors confirmed for the event so far: Krisdrama Art show includes: Artists will be vying for the coveted Best in Shell Ribbon (coconut shell, that is!) and a bottle of rum!
