Since Hang10tiki's images of his TV shell and my images of my Saxon 78 shell were so similar, I thought it'd be fun to play "Dr. Max Bergman" (CSI investigator from the new Hawaii 50 series) and do a bit of comparison between them....

First the bottom images side by side. I've outlined the similaries:

There are quite a few creases in both that are similar.

...and the tops:

The opening of the TV bowl in noticably larger than the saxon...obviously carved out larger after casting, but the dimples inside are also similar.

'Therefore, I've concluded that the victim was murdered by a violent blow to the cranium with a Trader Vic or similary cast conch shell bowl.".......wait, let me get out of character.

Ahem...... the bowls share similar molds.
