As a kid who grew up in Hawaii I remember that these were sold to raise money the same way band candy is now. I use to go door to door trying to sell boxes and was happy that I sold 10. I think the prize for most sold was a gift certificate, they had a round gold sticker to seal them, it's nice to see them again.
