TikiHula today was another mold busting day. At the same time it was also a fun day. I enjoyed our conversation. We have new friends coming to tour on Sunday at 1 PM. You are welcome to join us.

hang10tiki today was the last day of busing molds. Now each day I will show some new creations. While I work on the Wish List I still make things during my free time.

Tiki501 my great nephew when he was little would put on sunglasses and say, "I'm a cool boy". You reminded me of that. He's a teenager now.

RVICTOR confession time, I had two of those molds and I saved one just in case I want to do some that are altered. I'm glad you liked it.

kingstiedye guess what I'm working on a Maori Rat Fink. I have a few things to post first.

Capt'n Skully I do plan to experiment with glazes on the mugs that are not already purchased. I hope to find some fun things to mix together.

little lost tiki oh no! I busted them before I read your message. Oh well, I will have more molds in the future.
I've broken and ankle and walked on it at Tiki Oasis a few years ago before being ordered into a brace and crutches. I sure hope your ankle isn't worse than you know. Xrays are a good thing to have.

I did miss your hugs at Marketplace. Big Toe gave me one from you and I gave you one back from him. Please collect it!

I've been enjoying your art of facebook, don't you need to catch up here again? Time for you to create a Space themed painting for Tiki Oasis. I'm working on a ceramic I'll share here when it's further ahead.

I'm smiling at you right now.

This was a terrific batch of messages. Thank you all you made my day.

Phase Two of attacking and smashing molds but also saving some of the parts.

I was about to smash the molds from last years Albert's Tiki Village when I realized that I could alter them so that I could use them again.

I have two of these coconut mugs.

I used a rounded chisel to remove the raised parts that said Sacramento CA.

This side had the tiki and more words but

I managed to remove those too. Now I have two large molds for coconut mug blanks. They will be fun to play with.

The last mold to break were the 2012 Sacramento Crawl mug molds. They had a hula girl and Hawaiian Hut on the front and a real hut with palms on the back.

It really is fun to whack them.

One or two strikes on each and

they were destroyed. All done.

===================================

The Brotherhood of the Blue Bob that I showed yesterday needed a tiki so I added a Moai. It's just roughed out here in very soft clay.

===================================

For a long time I had this Tiki Bob alteration in mind. I finally did it.

Dan named it Curley Q Bob. I just started adding clay.

I kept going until I made these designs all the way around.

I let it sit in a plastic bag for a couple of days and then I started fine tuning the swirls. Then I roughed up the flat parts.

All done and posing.

Just a bit of the clay I removed during the fine tuning.

Think Bob's ok with his new do? Or is it doo?

Cheers, Wendy
